Lakes of the Clouds Hut

The huts system in the Whites started back in the late 1800s as a refuge for hikers in the harsh weather. Today it has become an escape for the more wealthy while they attempt to be outdoorsy. They cost $120 per person and include breakfast and dinner. We as thur hikers were lucky enough to do work for stay and enjoy this experience for the small price of doing dishes. It was a great place to stay for the night and several of our friends joined us as well. The food was great and got us prepared for Mt. Washington the next day.
