Housatonic River

The Housatonic River parallels the A. T. through Connecticut and Massachusetts. It has influenced the trade and lives of Indian tribes, carved valleys through the Berkshire Mountains and provided hydropower for small communities for decades.
Bulls Bridge is an ancient, wooden covered bridge that was built centuries ago. George Washington and the American army crossed the bridge multiple times.
Great Falls is Falls Village's namesake, it normally is a much gentler fall but due to the recent flooding the river was pummeling over the rock face with such force that the air vibrated with it's power.
